BENEFITS OF LEARNING WITH VIVIENNE AND KISMET BELLYDANCE:

Vivienne now has over 14 years of experience in Egyptian style bellydance, covering such styles as Folkloric Saidi, Raqs el Assaya, oriental Raqs Sharqi, drum solo and more. Vivienne's favourite is the veil, her choreographies always incorporate advanced technique including wraps, one handed technique and double veil.
She is fully insured to teach 14 year olds and upwards
You will learn in comfortable surroundings in a mirrored studio - at no extra cost than you will pay elsewhere. Learning in a mirrored studio means that you will learn this dance form a lot quicker.
Vivienne will always encourage you while at the same time ensuring that she corrects any mistakes in posture or technique.
The classes are friendly, sociable and fun - there are regular student nights out throughout the year. This year has seen trips to Occo, Tarboush (in London) and the Spice Lounge. The next one is at the is to be arranged during the summer of 2007.
Those who are serious about performing will have the opportunity to perform as part of a group at Kasbah4 in March 2007 - this is the only annual, and certainly the largest bellydance event in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. When you are at an appropriate performance standard and wish to dance as a solo artist, Vivienne's students also have the option of a free photographic listing in the dancer's index on Vivienne's other website www.strictlybellydance.co.uk.

Vivienne regularly organises workshops with visiting teachers - as a student you will have the first choice of booking places on these workshops.

This term will cover more advanced technique, consolidating advanced moves learned in previous courses. It will also cover improvisation by using combinations. As always emphasis will be on correct posture, technique and performance skills.

New Beginners Level 1 Course starting on 18th June- £46.00*** see note below regarding online payments

This course is for students who have attended at least one term of basic technique with Vivienne or have learned basic technique with other teachers prior to joining this course. It will consolidate the moves already covered in previous lessons and go on to cover more advanced moves. The course will also start to focus on performance skills with the opportunity for the student to perform as part of a group.

This course is for students who are brand new to bellydance. You will learn basic technique including shimmies, hip drops, figure of eights, undulations and hip bumps which we will then link together into a short dance choreography.

By two cheques each made out to Kismet Bellydance for half the total of the course fee - 1 dated for the start of the course and one dated for 5 weeks into the course and send together in an envelope to Vivienne at 7 Heaney Close, Newport Pagnell, Bucks MK16 8TJ, or, if you are an existing student you may give to her in class with the completed booking form.
